Tint FAQs

What tint shade is legal in Alberta?

Alberta allows any shade on rear and rear side windows. Front side windows have no minimum VLT requirement, but windshield tint must be above the AS-1 line. We'll guide you to compliant options.

How long does tint last?

Quality tint lasts 10+ years with lifetime options available on select films. Longevity depends on film type, sun exposure, and care.

Can I wash my car after tinting?

Wait 3-7 days before washing. Avoid high-pressure sprayers on the inside of windows for the first 30 days. Hand washing is safest during cure time.

Will tint affect my cell signal or GPS?

Dyed and ceramic films do not interfere with electronics. Metallic films can, which is why we primarily use carbon and ceramic.
